1. Unscrew the laser cover and put the LR44 battery into the laser
2. Tighten the laser cover and put it into the end of the cue grip

Put the laser on the handle and swing it, you can see the red line emitted by the laser, and then check whether the direction of the red line is correct. If the red beam emitted by the laser is facing backward, it means the swing posture is too high; if the red beam is forward, it means the swing posture is too low. If the red laser beam is facing the golf ball, the swing posture is correct.
